Gorillas (as in militants not gigantic primates) have taken over the famed Virunga National Park. (which has been mentioned on this blog before). This is not good for the 200+ remaining wild Gorillas.
The Gorilla Protection blog run by park rangers is a good source for some info.

Over 100,000 Gorillas found in Congo according to CNN. The highest density ever found.
That’s practically a city’s worth of gorillas previously undiscovered by humans. A “Planet of the Apes” if you will.

Zookeepers in the northern city of Basel were shocked to discover that Kisoro, a 17-year-old gorilla, is not the father of little Chelewa, instead it is Viatu, another male who is just nine years old.
Kisoro must be pissed.
