The BBC is reporting on research that Chips may actually be trading meat (valued for it’s protein) for sex:
“What’s amazing is that if a male shares with a particular female, he doubles the number of times he copulates with her, which is likely to increase the probability of fertilizing that female.”

That’s one athletic monkey. He’s fast. Clearly the person whose voice you hear in the video isn’t aware of the awesome athletic ability of chimps.
42 year old chimp Ichiro escaped from his cage at the Ishikawa Zoo the other day looking for someplace cool.
What got him to surrender? Tranquilizer? Squirt from a hose? Nope. A banana.
As Bruce Schneier hints, monkeys can have relevance in the topic of security. In particular research on risk preference. The study he notes is pretty interesting:
